Choralfest 2012 Information

Dear Parents/Guardians of choir students:

The grade 5 – 12 choirs will be performing at Choralfest near the end of November. This event will happen at the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, Wpg, MB.  The dates and times are as follows:

Monday, Nov 12th

10:45 am warm up, 11:00 performance,                                 11/12 Choir

11:45 workshop, finished at 12:15 pm

(leave SCHS 9:15 am, leave Wpg 1:00 pm, return by 2:30 pm)

*Students will need to have a bag lunch that day.

1:15 pm warm up, 1:30 pm performance,                              Chamber Choir

2:15 pm work shop, finished at 2:45 pm

(leave SCHS 11:45 am, leave Wpg 2:45 pm, return by 4:00 pm)

*Students will need to have a bag lunch that day.

Wednesday, Nov 14th

10:45 am warm up, 11:00 performance                                  9/10 Choir

11:45 workshop, finished at 12:15 pm

 (Leave school 9:30 am, leave Wpg 12:15 pm, return by 1:30 pm)

*Students will need to have a bag lunch that day.

Wednesday, Nov 21st

10:30 am warm up, 11:00 performance,                                 5-7 Choir

11:30 am workshop, finished at 12 noon

(leave SCHS 9:15 am, leave Wpg 12noon, return by 1:15 pm)

*Students will need to have a bag lunch that day.

12:30 pm warm up, 1:00 pm performance                             Gr 8 Choir

1:30 pm workshop, finished at 2:00 pm.

(leave SCHS 11:15 am, leave Wpg 2:00 pm, return by 3:15 pm)

*Students will need to have a bag lunch that day.

Parents are welcome to come and listen to the performances in Winnipeg. Please ensure that your students are dressed in black pants, black shoes black socks and their SCHS choir shirts.
