Grade 8 Physical Education and Health
Required Physical Education Clothing: t-shirt, shorts/sweats, clean dry shoes, No Jewelry. Shorts need to be a reasonable length (avoid spandex, spanx, etc.), and shirts need to have sleeves that come over the shoulder, and have appropriate messages.
Class Expectations

We will have Health class 1 time per week for 35 minutes, and PE 2 times per week for 1 hour.

Grading:
- Physical Education - 75% Effort, Skill, Class Expectations
- Health - 15% Quizzes, Assignments
- Fitness - 15% 12-minute run, Beep test and Upper, Middle, Lower Body Workouts
Each PE class will be graded on a mark out of 5. If you do not bring your Physical Education clothing, are injured or sick, you will need to do a classroom assignment. Each of these assignments will be graded on a mark out of 1. Please bring a note from home if you are injured or sick.
