Research and create a 1-2 page (Calibri (body)font, 12 size, 1 1/2 spaced, 1" margins, max 3 1.5"x1.5" images) summary on buying a camera of your choice. You should begin by establishing a price limit for what you want to spend and the type of camera you want to purchase. In your document present three different camera options that you feel meet your requirements and then make a purchasing recommendation. Compare and contrast their various features (minimum 5) and your needs/preferences (check camera review sites). Make sure you understand the elements that you are comparing. Do not cut and paste from websites.

Glossary Assignment

DUE DATE: End of the course
Every industry and field of study has its own terms and lingo. Photography is no different. There are many terms that are used that define particular aspects and techniques in this field. Many of these terms will be new to you or have a new meaning in this field of study. As we work our way through the material in Digital Pictures your task will be to create a glossary of the terms you come across in this course.

This assignment should be completed using Word and the template available in the Digital Pictures course folder and will be printed and submitted at the beginning of the due date.

Final Project

Details: The final project for this course will consist of a collection of 6-8 printed pictures (4x6) around a central theme. The pictures will be matted for display on a single board. This project should demonstrate the skills you have acquired throughout the course. Included will be a 1 page typed (Calibri (body)font, 12 size, 1 1/2 spaced, 1" margins) explanation of your work, the theme, and the techniques used to achieve the desired effects. The pictures must have been taken during the duration of the course.
