12 Course Outline

Note: Parents/guardians will be required to review the student’s physical activity plan and sign a Parent Declaration and Consent Form acknowledging their approval of the chosen activities and acceptance of the responsibility for risk management, safety, and supervision. Parents/guardians will also be required to verify the entries of the student’s physical activity log through a sign-off procedure.

**Classes are on Wednesdays at 2 pm in Room 122.

Required Physical Education Clothing:

T-shirt or sweatshirt, shorts or sweats, clean dry running shoes.

No Hats and No Sandals!

 

 

Class Expectations:

                        - Safety - self, others, fair play. No Jewelry!

                        - Respect others - teacher, classmates

                        - Respect learning environment - equipment, facilities

                        - Support learning of others - sharing, supporting, encouraging

                        - Effort - try hard to do your best, learn

                        - Fitness – increase fitness level in variety of activities                                 

- Be Prepared - Bring your agenda to Health, but not to the Gymnasium.

- Participation is required every class. If you do not bring your Physical Education clothing, you will be asked to use equipment provided by the school. Illness or injury will only be an acceptable excuse when a parent has written a note or handed a doctor’s note.
