Senior Years Course Descriptions
Compulsory Subject Areas
- Within the elective areas students must complete two Senior 3 credits and two Senior 4 credits across their senior years.
- Students must ensure that they meet the entrance requirements of the post secondary education, training, or work situations they intend to pursue.
- If the enrolment in any optional course is insufficient, the course may be withdrawn for the semester or year. Some courses may be taught in alternative years.
- With the approval of the principal, students may enroll with the Independent Studies Program for courses not offered by the school.
Graduation Requirements
The requirements for graduation at Steinbach Christian High School are in accordance with Manitoba Department of Education guidelines. The student must have successfully completed 30 credits and a school initiated Bible course in each semester of attendance.
Semester System
Steinbach Christian High School operates on a semester system. A student will take three or four subjects in the first semester and complete those at the end of January. The second semester begins in February and runs through June.
